Gregg Construction Update 4

Construction is still moving along steadily after 4 more months of work.  Insulation, brick and atlantic white cedar siding are being installed on the building exterior. Walls are framed and are being sheathed with plywood and drywall.  Installation of HVAC equipment is almost complete. Gregg Construction Update 3

Over the last 3 months construction has been moving along at a steady pace thanks to the good weather we have had. The final pieces of the steel structure were installed on the addition and the stud walls began going up.

Gregg Museum collection featured in modernism exhibition at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

"The House that Modernism Built" presents the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art's rich mid-20th century art collection alongside furniture, textile and ceramic holdings on loan from the Gregg Museum of Art & Design and other collections.

After the ceremonial groundbreaking on April 14, 2015, official construction on the new Gregg Museum started June 1.
