Thursday April 25 at 7:30pm, artist Jaclyn Bowie guides an interactive, collaborative light installation in the Gregg’s garden, using it as the inspiration and the Gregg itself as the canvas.
Join the Gregg Museum to honor Earth Month and express appreciation for our planet’s interconnectivity and biodiversity at this special program inspired by exhibitions on view. Participants will closely observe the blossoming plants in the Pollinator Garden and discover their rich diversity of forms, colors, and textures using tech tools old and new to illuminate them at night and project their images onto the exterior of the museum. Participants are encouraged to assemble their own compositions using a sampling of plants for live projection.
This quiet evening of botanical delights is FREE and appropriate for adults and children of all ages. Small children must be closely supervised. Photography in the garden is permitted without flash and mention of credit to the artist is appreciated.
