Can I take photos in the Gregg Museum of Art & Design?

Please feel free to record your visit or take pictures, without flash or a tripod, and for personal, non-commercial use only. Share with us on Instagram @ncstategreggmusuem

Occasionally, there may be restrictions on photography in temporary exhibitions or for some pieces. Please follow directions on signage in the exhibition area, or ask an ambassador if you have any questions.

To maintain a positive and safe experience for all of our guests, no tripods, monopods, selfie sticks or drones are allowed inside the museum or in the pollinator garden.

Permission granted by the museum is required for professional portrait photography or video inside the museum and commercial photography or video inside and outside the museum. If you would like to request the opportunity to shoot photography or video professionally on the Gregg Museum grounds, please download this request form and email it to Dana DiMaio at dldmaio@ncsu.edu.
