Support

A gift to the Gregg Museum helps us continue to offer great exhibitions, interesting programs, intern experiences, high quality academic classes, opportunities for research, and more to the communities we serve, both on-campus and in the surrounding region.

Our Priorities

Gregg Museum Enhancement Fund

Unrestricted gifts to the Gregg Museum Enhancement Fund enable thousands of NC State students and community members to interact with the arts through engaging exhibitions and thought-provoking educational experiences. Most importantly, your gift keeps the Gregg Museum free and open to all.

Gregg Museum of Art & Design Endowment

Endowed funds are a bedrock in that they are reliable annual funding streams from a principal of funds that exist in perpetuity and grow over time. Our Gregg Museum endowment allows leadership to strategically invest in top initiatives.

Gifts of all levels to these areas make a difference, but please consider joining the Chancellor’s Circle by making an annual gift of $1,000 or more. Cumulative giving of $1,000 or more between July 1 and June 30 and matching gifts made by employers count toward your eligibility.

Friends of the Gregg Membership is Free!

We invite all visitors to the Gregg Museum to experience the Gregg in a variety of ways, whether it’s visiting an exhibition, attending a program, enjoying our gardens, or taking advantage of our digital offerings. In an effort to amplify our commitment to widening inclusivity and accessibility, the Friends of the Gregg (FoG) membership program will no longer charge dues. This membership model will allow us to strengthen and build our community of supporters by making it possible for everyone to enjoy the museum and be a part of our success. Visit this page for more information about membership.

At the same time, in order to continually improve the Gregg experience and sustain our commitment to access, private support will still be critical. Instead of paying annual membership dues, we hope you will consider transitioning your support by making a fully tax deductible annual gift to the Gregg Museum Enhancement Fund.

Object Donations

The Gregg Museum’s vast permanent collection was achieved almost entirely by generous donations, and we are grateful to all the donors who made it possible. That being said, the Gregg Museum is currently evaluating its holdings, and is not considering unsolicited object or library donations. If you have questions regarding this, please contact Mary Hauser, mehauser@ncsu.edu.
