Meet our Student Ambassadors and Interns for the 2025-2026 school year!
Ally Tennant – Education Intern. Ally Tennant is a fourth-year student double majoring in History and English Rhetoric & Professional Writing. As a History major, she has developed a deep appreciation for the ways museums preserve and present the past. This is her second museum internship; she previously spent a year as an Adult Education Intern at the North Carolina Museum of History, where she gained valuable experience in collections and public engagement. She also recently returned from studying abroad at Oxford University, which deepened her interest in global history and cultural preservation. Ally is honored to be part of the Gregg Museum of Art & Design, where her enthusiasm for museum work can grow alongside the museum’s mission to connect people with art, design, and history.
Rachel Kelly – Digital Media Intern. Rachel Kelly is a fourth-year at NC State University, pursuing a degree in Fashion and Textile Management with a concentration in Brand Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. She currently serves as the Digital Media Intern at the Gregg Museum, where she is eager to expand her skills in social media content creation, management, and digital media marketing. She’s especially excited to see how the Gregg brings events and ideas to life and to get a behind-the-scenes look at how it connects with both the NC State community and the public. After graduation, she plans to apply for full-time roles and is open to relocating to a new city to continue growing in the fashion or publications industry!
Ryan Brooks – Business Operations Intern. Ryan Brooks is a fourth-year studying Business Administration with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. Originally from Jacksonville, NC, he enjoys doodling, working out, reading, writing, watching TV, and playing video games. Known for being friendly and talkative, Ryan loves connecting and socializing with others.
Hyasen Gray – Exhibitions Intern. Hyasen Gray is a fourth-year student majoring in Design Studies with minors in Entomology and International Studies. She is passionate about exploring the intersections of art and design, particularly within research and museum settings. Currently in her second year playing for the NC State Women’s Club Rugby Team, Hayden also enjoys volunteering at a local animal shelter by walking dogs and spending her free time hiking around state parks to unwind.
Layney Keesee – Student Ambassador Layney Keesee is a second-year English Literature major with a minor in Anthropology. This is also her second year working at the Gregg Museum of Art and Design as a Student Ambassador, and served as an Educational Intern in the Fall 2024 semester. Layney enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and working at NCSU’s Roundabout Magazine when she isn’t dwelling at the Gregg front desk.
Taylor Tetrault – Student Ambassador. Taylor Tetrault is a fourth-year student in Design Studies at NC State University. She serves as the co-director of Fish Market Student Art Gallery and is eager to pursue her passion for art history, curation, inclusion, and immersive experiences in her future career after graduation.
Lorelei Weaver – Student Ambassador. Lorelei Weaver is a fourth-year student at NC State, majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Applied Ecology. She has long been captivated by museums of all kinds, which have inspired her to value the preservation and education of the past. This semester, she is excited to join the Gregg Museum team as a collections intern and looks forward to employing her interdisciplinary interests to explore the fascinating intersection between the environment, art, and cultures.
Sarah Durham – Student Ambassador. Sarah Durham from Charlotte, NC, is a passionate leader, artist, and aspiring education innovator dedicated to making a meaningful impact. She is a part of NC State University, Class of 2028, majoring in Applied Education Learning Design & Technology with hopes to get her masters in the same field. With a strong background in leadership, community service, and art, she is committed to creating engaging and impactful learning experiences. She has been working at the Gregg since January 2025. A fun fact about Sarah is her favorite medium to work with is watercolor, and her favorite artist is Keith Harring.
Dhanush Vijayanagaram – Student Ambassador. Dhanush Vijayanagaram is a graduate student in the College of Engineering with a strong curiosity for learning. He enjoys cooking, volunteering for meaningful causes, and engaging with people. Passionate about breaking down complex concepts, he finds joy in simplifying ideas and sharing knowledge through teaching. With a long-term aspiration to become a professor, he hopes to first gain valuable industry experience and continue inspiring others along the way.
Audrey Colopy – Student Ambassador. Audrey Colopy is a Design Studies student at NC State University with a passion for creativity, problem-solving, and exploring how design connects to different industries. Her experience ranges from working on a photogrammetry project in Greece to customer service roles that have strengthened her teamwork and adaptability skills. Currently, she is an ambassador at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design, engaging with art, visitors, and creative projects.
